Domingo de primavera.
Se ha pasado toda la noche lloviendo como sino hubiera un mañana.
Pero contra todo pronóstico amanece con Sol 🙂

Hace mucho que no subimos a Igeldo andando
y hoy parece el día perfecto para hacerlo.

En la city huele a primavera por todas partes.

Subir a Igeldo andando es todo un espectáculo.

Vamos andando del centro al Tenis, y luego por detrás hasta el funicular.
Dejamos el Funicular y pillamos la subida que hay a la izquierda.

Nada más empezar la subida las vistas de la city son impresionantes.
No pararás de fotografiar cada rincón.

La subida es fácil, y  sobre todo muy bonita.
Vas a disfrutar a cada paso.

Aquí encontrarás casas con vistas increíbles,
levantarse con estas vistas tiene que ser MARAVILLOSO.

Durante la subida, encontrarás «atajos» con escaleras,
no las pilles sigue andando y prepara tu cámara

Ver pasar el Funicular tiene su punto.

Sigue subiendo y pronto llegas al Faro

En nuestro camino nos cruzamos con varios turistas
en busca de una buena foto de Donostia,
desde otra perspectiva.

Recordad que a puntito de llegar..

Hay que pagar 🙂

Nada más llegar sufrirás sí o sí una regresión a la infancia

La verdad es que el paseíto merece la pena,
puedes tomarte algo en esta terracita con vistas
para recuperar el aliento 😉

A Walk Around Igeldo–Don’t Forget Your Camera!

A Sunday in spring.
It’s rained all night as if there were no tomorrow.
But, contrary to the forecast, the morning breaks with Sun 🙂
It’s been awhile since we’ve gone up to Igeldo on foot,
And today looks like the perfect day to do so.
The city smells of spring in every corner,
And walking up Igeldo is spectacular.
We start at the Tennis center and around until we reach the funicular.
Past the funicular, we find the path up on our left.
Even as we just begin the climb, the views of the city are impressive.
Try not to stop to photograph every spot!
The climb is gentle, and above all beautiful.
You will enjoy every step.
Here you will find houses with incredible views,
Waking up to such panoramas must be MARVELOUS.
As you go up, you will see “shortcuts” with stairs…
Don’t take them!  Keep walking and get your camera ready.
It’s worth it to see the funicular pass by.
Keep going up and you will soon reach the Lighthouse.
On our walk we saw various tourists
Looking for a nice shot of Donostia
From a different perspective.
Remember that just before you reach the top…
You have to pay 🙂  2,20€ per person
Once you arrive, whether you like it or not, you’ll travel back to your childhood.
The truth is that this little walk is worth the while.

You can have a drink on the terrace with stunning views to catch your breath  😉
